Hi, I’m Ann Marie! I have been a healthcare professional for over 30 years! I am a Registered Dietitian and founder of A Health Ally and developer of the Preventing Diabetes Program. I teach and partner with people that are diagnosed with prediabetes or have been told they are “at-risk” for diabetes by a healthcare provider. I created a Preventing Diabetes Program that incorporates mini habits which are easy to follow and sustain. Willpower and strict diets are not the answer because it is hard to stick with them long-term. That’s why so many people lose weight and gain it back more, resulting in an even higher risk for diabetes and other diseases

Prevent Diabetes Program

Welcome to the Prevent Diabetes Program, your gateway to a healthier life. Our program consists of 12 self-paced modules and three optional bonus modules, all designed to help you prevent and potentially reverse prediabetes and diabetes. Whether you’re already experiencing symptoms or have received a prediabetes diagnosis from a healthcare provider, our program is tailored to your needs.

While the bonus modules offer specialized leaning, they are entirely optional. We recommend progressing through one module per week, allowing you to Integrate changes gradually, ensuring effective learning, motivation, and long-term sustainability. Each module provides actionable items, tip sheets, and guides, introducing the concept of “mini habits” to help you maintain stable blood sugar levels. The best part? You’ll have unlimited access to these modules, even after completion, and are encouraged to revisit them as needed. Our program’s community aspect on Facebook plays a vital role in your journey. Connect with fellow participants, seek answers to your questions, and offer your support. This community network significantly enhances your health transformation experience.

Meal Planing & Health Education Guides

Many clients search for meal and menu plans to help them prevent or reverse disease and lose weight. I developed several weekly menu plans that include 3 meals and 1 snack a day with nutritional analysis and a grocery list.
